Spot provides two different types of basic pet insurance plan – accident and illness, and accident-only.

What does Spot pet insurance cover?

Policyholders can submit a claim for any covered condition within 270 days of any treatment or care. Pay your vet’s bill, and then submit a claim to get reimbursed. The fastest way to do that is through Spot’s app; simply upload an image of your invoice and complete any required details. How much will Spot pay for my claim?

How much of any claim Spot Pet Insurance reimburses you depends on the details of your policy. If a claim is approved, you’ll typically receive the cost of the bill back, minus your stated deductible and the difference of your set reimbursement. For example, if your reimbursement rate is 80%, you’ll pay 20% of what’s left following the deductible.

Are there any coverage exclusions?
